AMERICAN YOUTH FOOTBALL (AYF)

American Youth Football (AYF) is the largest youth football organization in

the U.S. A National Youth Partner of the NFL, AYF provides support services, academic scholarships, grants, "Giving Back" programs and tournaments

to more than 650,000 members. AYF is the only youth football program with members in all 50 states and several countries worldwide. AYF is committed to Giving Back and has donated more than $14 million dollars in grants and product to

communities that support youth football.

AYF offers all-inclusive football and cheer divisions to every team

and league, enabling every child a place to play and Age/Weight

and Grade-Based Age Protected Divisions make AYF the

most competitive youth football organization in the World.

 

AYF believes in building communities of strong leaders, by encouraging and rewarding strong academic achievement, teaching the lessons of dedication, honest effort, and fair play, special athletes emerge to become the leaders of our great country.   AYF members believe that each of us can make a difference where we live and how we live. AYF believes that ALL kids deserve

equal opportunities, special attention and respect.

AYF's philosophy is to allow local members to govern themselves while remaining non-intrusive.

AYF is the fastest growing youth organization in America, founded in 1996 American Youth Football has grown to over 650,000 members with leagues in all 50 states, Canada, Mexico, Western Europe, and Asia.

AYF welcomes everyone, regardless of financial capabilities, location, participation, and pledges to support youth football and to do its best to help those leagues who need help in order

to build stronger communities.

Giving Back is the mission of AYF. Programs range from: financial grants to leagues who need help; shoes for kids programs sponsored by Nike Global; field development in conjunction with Field Turf; Rising Stars camps, which send inner-city kids to football camp; recognizing administrators who are making a difference in the AYF Hall of Fame; in partnership with ADAMS USA,

 making league safety and communication a priority.

MISSION STATEMENT

Our organization will make every effort to make sure that every child with

the desire to participate gets the opportunity to play or cheer, without

regard to prior experience, athletic ability or size.

We are committed to instilling Honesty, Loyalty, Integrity, Teamwork, Discipline, Sportsmanship, Respect, Leadership, Trust and Commitment in our young participants.  We believe these values and virtues are important to their growth and to them becoming active members of our community and society

These goals will be achieved through organizing our

dedicated volunteers, caring parents, and business associates who wish to partner with our great youth sport program.

We will instill in our youth the challenge of competition, the joy of victory, the reality of defeat, the importance of commitment and the spirit of community. Our Scholar Athlete Recognition program is to directly underscore the importance of academic achievement among athletes, and by doing so, it will prepare them for the challenges of high school and collegiate environments.

Our Goals

  1. To provide a wholesome competitiveness within the scope of our rules and regulations that will protect the youth athlete and cheerleader.
     

  2. To teach the fundamentals of football and coordinate cheerleader activities.
     

  3. To provide a responsible football and cheerleader program where none is provided by the public schools.
     

  4. To influence good sportsmanship, teamwork, highest moral and physical standards and the importance of scholarship and academic achievement.
     

  5. To lend associations support with remaining NON-INTRUSIVE to local operations.
     

  6. To make Youth Football ALL-INCLUSIVE by not excluding participants based on superficial factors (such as weight).
